Women's Twenty20 series: Nepal set a target of 82 runs to Thailand

In the final match of the Women's Twenty20 series, Nepal has given a target of 82 runs to Thailand for victory. Nepali team captain Indu Barma won the toss and chose to bat first at the Trivi Cricket ground in Kirtipar.

Nepal made 81 runs after losing seven wickets in the allotted 20 overs. For Nepal, Yakkan Khadka scored 17 runs, Kavita Joshi scored 14 runs, Rajmati Airi scored 11 unbeaten runs and captain Indu Burma scored 10 runs.

Thailand's Onicha Kamchomphu took three wickets and Chanida Sutthiruang, Nattaya Buchatham and Suleporn Laomi took one wicket each. Thailand is now batting back . 

Nepal has been defeated in all the five matches played before. Earlier, Nepal lost to Netherlands by 20 runs, 15 runs and 10 wickets and Thailand by four wickets and five runs.

Thailand is at the top of the points table by winning four of the five games they have played. Earlier, Thailand defeated the Netherlands by eight wickets and 17 runs. Similarly, Thailand was defeated by one wicket against the Netherlands in the last match.

Today, the Nepali team includes captain Indu Burma along with Bindu Rawal, Yakkan Khadka, Elishakumari Yadav, Pooja Mahato, Ruveena Chhetri, Kavita Joshi, Rajmati Airi, Manisha Upadhyay, Sita Rana Magar and Rachna Chaudhary . Rajmati made her debut in today's match.
