The host Herald College won the 4th Herald Cup Intercollegiate Basketball Tournament on Friday. At the home court, Herald defeated Angels Heart with a score of 47-29. Krishna Singh of Herald added 16 scores.

Manaslu defeated CCRC 54-42, South Western defeated Nami 51-41, Goldengate International College defeated Saipal Academy 44-38 and Greenfield defeated Orient 40-30. Sougat of Manaslu scored 10, Saroj Shrestha of South Western scored 11, Yuvraj Tamang of Goldengate scored 15 and Pradeep Khadka of Greenfield scored 12.

Herald's principal associate professor Vinod Regmi, shift in-charges Rajeshraj Aryal and Madan Prasad Phuyal and academic co-ordinator Dipendra Pudasaini handed over the ball and jointly inaugurated it. In the competition, 16 teams are competing on a league-come knockout basis.
