Kerabari Football Club of Morang has won the second edition of the Krishna Prasad Bhattarai Memorial Gold Cup. Kerabari won the title by defeating Lohorung Football Club Sankhuwasabha 1-0 in the final on Thursday at Janata Multipurpose Campus located in Itahari-5.

Nigerian player Alex scored the decisive goal in the 15th minute from Kerabari. The winner Kerabari received a prize of 250,000 rupees and the runner-up Lohorung received a prize of 130,000 rupees. Man of the match was Alex from Kerabari. He received 5 thousand. The best player was Prabesh Basnet of Kerabari. He got 15 thousand. Roshan Karki of Kerabari was declared the best goalkeeper, Sujan Chaudhary the best defender, Nitesh Limbu the top scorer. Heman Limbu of Lohorung was chosen as the best midfielder and Jeevan Lohorung as the best forward. They all got 10,000 each. Rising Player was hosted by Saloz Jimmy of The Young Brothers Club. He got 5 thousand. Minister of Industry and Agriculture of Koshi Province Khagensingh Hangmang distributed the prizes to the winners.
