Budhasubba Gold Cup: Defending champions NRT and UKFC meet in the second semi-final

In the second semi-final of the 25th International Invitational Budhasubba Gold Cup Football Tournament, the former winners New Road Team NRT and United Kharsang Club UKFC are competing today.

The match between UKFC, who defeated the host Dharan Football Club in the quarter-final match, and NRT, who are going to play the semi-final against Kakdvitta Football Tanning Centre, will start at 3 pm. 

By winning the match at Dharan Stadium, NRT will be in the race to win the title for the second time in a row. UKFC, which has not tasted the title, is also in the stake of entering the final for the first time. 

Today's winner will compete against Church Boys United on Saturday for the title. Church Boys came close to winning the title after defeating Bhutan's RTC Football Club in the first semi-final. The winner of the Gold Cup will receive a prize of Rs 10 lakh and the runner-up will receive a prize of Rs 5 lakh.
