With the good batting of Pooja Mahato and captain Indu Burma, Nepal set a target of 146 runs to the Netherlands in the triangular Women's Twenty20 cricket series. Nepal won the toss and scored 145 runs after losing 4 wickets in 20 overs after winning the toss at the Trivi Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.
Pooja scored an unbeaten 62 to become her highest score in Women's Twenty20 Internationals. In February last year, she scored an unbeaten 59 against the Maldives in Malaysia while scoring her maiden half-century. Pooja's score is also a personal high score in this series.
Pooja played 51 balls and hit 5 fours. Indu played 37 balls and scored 39 runs by hitting 5 fours. Indu and Pooja shared a partnership of 78 runs in 63 balls for the third wicket, after Jakjan Khadka scored 6 runs in the first over and the other opener Mamta Chaudhary was dismissed for 1 run.

Nepal has been defeated in the first four matches in this series consisting of three nations. Netherlands won the two matches of this series against Nepal by 20 and 15 runs respectively. But Thailand has already defeated the Netherlands in two matches. Thailand has won 2-2 matches against Nepal and Thailand in the four matches played in the series.
