Nepal has got a target of 107 runs to win the match against Thailand in the triangular women's Twenty20 cricket series on Tuesday. After winning the toss, Thailand scored 106 runs after losing 6 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs.

After Manisha bowled sensationally in her first over, Nepal kept Thailand's batting under control. In the seventh over of the match, Manisha dismissed the opener Offisara Suwanchonrathi lbw on her first ball for 17 runs. Three balls later, she also got Natakan Chantham LBW for a wicket.

In Manisha's last ball of the same over, Manisha ran out captain Naruimol Chaiwai for a zero on a direct hit. Manisha did not stop there. Manisha, who made her 'debut' in the Women's Twenty20 International from this series, dismissed Thailand's leading batsman Nanapat Koncharoinkai for 19 runs. In the first two matches of this series, Koncharoinkai scored half centuries against Nepal and Netherlands and hit 2 fours in 23 balls.

After the excellent performance of Manisha, Thailand reached the position of 56-6 in 13 overs. But Thipatacha Puthavong and Chanida Suthirueng shared an unbeaten partnership of 50 runs in 43 balls for the seventh wicket. Puthavong played 31 balls and hit 1 four and Suthirueng played 28 balls and scored 27 runs and remained unbeaten.

Nepal gave Rachna Chaudhary a 'debut'. Rachna, who made a good impression in the recently concluded ICC U19 World Cup in Malaysia, was brought in as Kavita Kunwar's replacement. Rachna was included in the Nepali women's team after she left the competition with a back injury in the second match of the poetry series. Rachna took 1 wicket for 16 runs in 4 overs.

Similarly, in place of Roma Thapa, Nepal has played in the place of veteran Sita Ranamgar. Sita took 5 wickets and scored 10 unbeaten runs in the last match against the Netherlands.

Nepal has been defeated in the first 3 matches. In the previous match against Thailand, Nepal was defeated by 4 wickets. Apart from that, Netherlands defeated Nepal by 20 and 15 runs respectively in two matches. Thailand has won all 3 matches played. Nepal has not been able to defeat Thailand since 2011.
