3 athletes from Nepal will compete in the Dubai 2025 World Para Athletics Grand Prix. The 6-member Nepali team will go to Dubai on Wednesday. 1 male and 2 female players will compete in the tournament to be held from February 5 to 14. Navraj Karki will compete in men's 400m and 1500m races.

Wilisha Aryal will compete in women's 100m race and shot put and Prabha Angdembe will compete in women's 200m and 400m race and long jump. Based on the performance of the

competition, the players will be selected for the World Para Athletics Championship to be held in New Delhi. Sangbu Bhote is the team manager, Olympian Vimala Rana Magar is the coach and Geethadevi Dahal is the official.

National Sports Council (Rakhep) Member-Secretary Tanklal Ghising, Rakhep member Anjana Shrestha and President of Para Athletics Association of Nepal Omnath Sivakoti bid farewell to the team on Tuesday.
