The 25th edition of the international invitational Budhasubba Gold Cup football tournament is starting today. In the opening match at Dharan Stadium at 2.30 pm, A division league champion Church Boys United and departmental team Nepal Police Club will compete.

The organizer Dharan Football Club has informed that all the preparations for the competition to be organized as a silver festival have been completed. Eight teams including two from India and Bhutan will participate in the tournament. In the

competition  NRT, league champion Church Boys, Nepal Police, Tribhuvan Army, Machindra Football Club, Bhutan Football Academy, UK FC India, Kakadvitta Football Training Center Jhapa, Rashtiya Jagruti Club Itahari and host Dharan Football Club informed the club president Pratap Tamang.&nbsp ; The winning team of the

competition will receive 10 lakh rupees and the runner-up will receive 5 lakh rupees. The best player will get 1 lakh. Man of the match will get 15,000, top scorer 35,000 and category best will get 25,000.  The tournament, which has been held continuously since 2055, could not be held for two years due to the Corona epidemic.
