Gandaki province has defeated APF in the men's side of the Ncell 5th Tiger Cup national and international women's and men's volleyball tournament in Pokhara. Gandaki registered a 3-1 set win over APFF in the match held on Tuesday at the volleyball court at Pokhara Stadium.

After losing the first set 23-25, Gandaki managed to come back in the second, third and fourth sets to win. Gandaki won the second set 25-20, the third set 25-19 and the fourth set 25-15.

Now Gandaki and APF will play against Tiptop Help Nepal Sports Club. Then the top ranked team will play the eliminator.

Earlier, the team of Tiger Group of Pokhara and Nepal Police Club won the women's match. The host team defeated Tiptop New Diamond Sports Club and Police defeated Tribhuvan Army Club. 

On the women's side, the host team and APF will play the first qualifier. Police and New Diamond will play the eliminator. The team that loses in the first qualifier and the team that wins in the eliminator will compete in the second qualifier for entry into the Philan.
