Sankata defeated Machindra in sudden death and decided to travel to the final of the Chairman's Cup on Monday. Sankata won 8-7 in the tie breaker of the match at Dasharath Rangshal.

After the match ended in a goalless draw, the competition went directly to the penalty shootout. Sankata's captain and goalkeeper Deep Karki saved Ayush Ghalan's shot. Dayanand Singh's shot went out.

Iman Boatang converted the decisive shot into a goal for the crisis. Before that, Chandrakumar Das also failed to score due to crisis. Ram Thapa, Sreejan Chhetri, Santosh Khatri, Sam Carlos, Deep, Abeka Richard and Rosh Pahari scored for the winning team.

Samirraj Thokar, Diwakar Chaudhary, Sanish Shrestha, Omolaja Nurin Karim, Devendra Tamang, Chiring Gurung and Bimal Ghartimar scored goals for Machindra.
