Tribhuvan Army Club defeated the Armed Police Force (APF) in straight sets in the men's side of the Ncell 5th Tiger Cup National and International Club Women's and Men's Volleyball Tournament.
In the final match on Sunday at the volleyball court in Pokhara Stadium, Army won easily 3-0 over APF. Army won the first set 25-18, the second set 25-23 and the third set 25-15. In the earlier match, Nepal Police Club defeated Gandaki in 3-2 sets.
Similarly, in the first men's match, India's Sunil Volleyball Club defeated former winners Tiptop Help Nepal in a 3-1 set. In the first match on Sunday, the women's host team defeated Tribhuvan Army Club by 3-0 in straight sets. League stage games will now be held in the competition.
The winning team and the losing team in the first match will play separate leagues. The competition organized by Tiger Group of Pokhara will last until January 19.
