12 teams, including two foreign teams, will compete in the 5th Ncell Tiger Cup women's and men's volleyball tournament. Tiger Group of Pokhara Nepal will host the tournament from January 12 to 19 at Pokhara Stadium.
6 teams each for women and men will participate in the competition, including two foreigners. The foreign teams in this edition will be United Passion Volleyball Club for women, Thailand and Sri Lankan Army Volleyball team for men. On the men's side, Nepal's Help Nepal Sports Club, Gandaki Pradesh Volleyball Association, Nepal Police Club, Tribhuvan Army Club and Nepal APF Club will participate.
Women's APF Club, New Diamond Sports Club, Tribhuvan Army, Police Club and Tiger Group of Pokhara will participate. This time, the organizers have made a separate women's team participate. Coordinator Ramakrishna Gyawali informed that 3 foreign players will be included in Gandaki and host team.
The male and female winners will receive the same prize of Rs 5 lakh 85 thousand 555. The runner-up will get Rs 2 lakh 85 thousand 555 and the third place will get Rs 1 lakh 85 thousand 555.
