Janakpur Knights got their second consecutive victory in the Nepal Kabaddi League (NKL) held at Rakhep Covered Hall in Tripureshwar. On Monday, Janakpur defeated Dhangadhi Wildcats with a score of 37-31. Janakpur has climbed to the top with 10 points. Dhangadhi has 1 point.
Earlier, Janakpur defeated Himalayan Raiders by 35-24. Dhangadhi lost the match against Biratnagar Bandits 46-34. Janakpur had an excellent performance in Red. From that, the team collected 24 points. Scored 6 points from tackles (4 from all outs and bonus points). Dhangadheel added 27 points from raid, 4 from tackle and 11 from bonus.
Initially, Dhangadhi kept Janakpur under pressure. However, Dhangadhi was out twice in the first half due to weakness in tackling. Janakpur, on the other hand, performed well in the tackle and added 6 points. Dhangadhi was able to add only 2 points
In red, both added 6-6 points, but Janakpur got more extra points. Janakpupar took a 7-point lead in the first half. In the second half, Dhangadhi scored 18 points and Janakpur scored 16 points.
