Three players from Sri Lanka have arrived to play in the Nepal Kabaddi League (NKL) organized by Astronics Management.
Ahangama Polwatha Galapathige, Laxmohan Thanusan and Dilan Sanjay have arrived in Kathmandu. Thanusan and Sanjay are playing for Janakpur Knights while Galapathige is playing for Dhangadhi Wildcats. The first edition of the
franchise team competition of NKL will be held from January 4 to 18 at the Covered Hall in Tripureshwar. 18 foreign players are participating in it, including 6 from Thailand, 6 from Bangladesh, 3 from Sri Lanka and 3 from Kenya. 6 teams from 6 cities are competing in the
franchise competition. Biratnagar Bandits, Janakpur Knights, Kathmandu Mavericks, Pokhara Lakers, Himalayan Raiders and Dhangadhi Wildcats are playing in NKL first season.
