The Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) has announced the Nepali team for the ICC U-19 Women's World Cup. CAN announced a 15-member squad under the captaincy of Pooja Mahato on Saturday.

Nepal became the champion in the U-19 Asia Qualifier held last month and made it to the World Cup. The U-19 World Cup is being held in Malaysia from January 5 to 20. 16 teams will participate in the competition.

Nepal is in Group 'D'. The group also includes Bangladesh, Australia and Scotland. Nepal will play the first match against Bangladesh on January 5. Nepal will play the second game on January 7th  It is scheduled to play against Scotland and the third match against Australia on January 9.
