The title of 11th Falgunanda Goldup was won by Church Boys United Club, Kathmandu. The Church Boys won the title after defeating the rival Machindra Football Club by 5-4 goals at Tribeker.
The decision was taken from the tiebreaker after both teams played 2-2 at the scheduled time of 90 minutes.
Sujan Dangol, Rohan Karki, Tshiring Lama, Ekraj Budathoki, Phakunle Awayami scored in the victory of Church Boys. Machindra's Samirraj Thokar, Saurabh Subba, Sanish Shrestha and Devendra Tamang scored goals, but after Dayanand Ingbam's shot was saved by Church Boys' goalkeeper Krishal Moktan, Machindra along with Church Boys were stunned and limited to the runner-up position. With the
victory, the church boys received a cash prize of 10 lakh 555 rupees along with a trophy, while the runner-up Machindra settled for 5 lakh 555 rupees in cash. Samir Tamang, who scored 6 goals throughout the tournament, was awarded as the best player (Man of the Tournament) and high scorer with a scooter and cash prize of 15,000.
Krischal Moktan of Church Boys became the best goalkeeper, Devendra Tamang of Church Boys became the best defender, Dipesh Gurung of Church Boys became the best midfielder, Suman Shrestha of Church Boys became the best coach. They got Rs 10,000 each.
Machindra's Biju Bhujel is the best player and Machchindra's Sanish Shrestha was the man of the match in the final. Similarly, Manish Chhetri of the organizer Phidim Sporting Club was awarded as Rising Player.
