The best Nepali player of Nepal Premier League (NPL) cricket, Dipendrasingh Airi, has become the brand ambassador of Omoda & Jeiko Automobiles on Monday. An agreement has been reached between SPG Automobiles and Dipendra, Nepal's official distributor for the Chinese Omoda.
The agreement was signed by Gaurav Sharda and Dipendra, directors of SPG Automobiles. Director Sharda handed over the car keys to Dipendra. The financial aspect of the agreement has not been disclosed. Director Sharda said that this is the beginning for the future.
Dipendra led Sudurpaschim Royals in the NPL that ended 10 days ago. Despite consistently performing well, they were defeated by Janakpur Bolts in the Sudurpaschim final. Besides scoring 227 runs, Dipendra, who took 8 wickets, took 3 catches and 7 runouts. In the final, Dipendra could not move much.
For being the best player, Dipendra got an Omoda-E5 car with a market value of 62 lakhs from SPG Automobiles. Dipendra has now become the brand ambassador of Omoda cars. "Hope and trust have increased with such an award that encourages players," said Dipendra. He is currently ranked second in the all-rounder ranking of World Twenty20 International Cricket.
