The second edition of the first Everest climber Tenzing Norge Sherpa Open Climbing Competition will be held in the capital on January 16 and 17.

The US Nepal Climber Association and the Nepal National Mountain Guide Association have held a press conference and announced that there will be separate competitions for men and women. The competition will be held at Krimpanji Adventure Hub located in Buddh. Organizers believe that the competition will encourage those who are interested in climbing.  Those above 12 years of age can participate in the

competition. General Secretary of Nepal National Mountain Guide Association Pimba Tenzing Lama said that the competition is not only a competition, but also a celebration of climbing culture, camaraderie and Tenzing Norge Sherpa's steadfast spirit. According to

organizers, there will be separate competition between men and women. Cash prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third place winners.
