Tibhar has continued to sponsor AVM Table Tennis Club for the second year in a row. Tibhar, a table tennis equipment manufacturer, will sponsor more than Rs.10 lakh. Accordingly, Tibhar will provide this material to three players of AVM.
National players Sikka Suwal Shrestha, Ivana Thapa and Ruven Maharjan will be given the material. Materials provided include bats, shoes, socks, rubbers and other clothing. At the
sponsorship announcement event, AVM School Principal Sujitha Manandhar said that this sponsorship will boost the motivation of the players. She said that in the future, AVS Table Tennis Club will be developed professionally. According to the coach of the
club, Purushottam Vajracharya, Switzerland's Pavel Rehorek helped with the sponsorship deal. At AVM club, around 100 players are getting daily coaching. 6 trainers are giving regular training. AVM is considered to be the most successful table tennis club in Nepal.
