Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Center) President Pushpa Kamal Dahal has congratulated Janakpur Bolts for winning the title of the first edition of Nepal Premier League (NPL).

President Dahal also congratulated the winner Janakpur Bolts as well as the runner-up Sudurpaschim Royals through social media. He said that the game has helped in the development of Nepali players' abilities.

President Dahal said, 'Congratulations to Janakpur Bolts who succeeded in winning the title of the first edition of NPL. I also congratulate Sudurpaschim Royals, the runners-up of the competition. NPL, the grand festival of Nepali cricket, has been completed in a grand and decent manner. It has made a significant contribution to enhance the capacity of Nepali players. I express my sincere thanks to all the groups, organizers, managers, sports-loving sisters and brothers who participated in the competition.
