Angel's Heart and Newton reached the finals of the first Himarshmi Cup U-19 College/School Valley-wide Student Volleyball Tournament on Friday.
Angels Heart beat Jai Multiple Campus by 25-15, 24-26, 25-22, 25-22. In the other semi-final, Newton defeated the host Himarashmi 25-13, 25-19, 20-25, 25-17. The semi-finals will be played on the basis of 'best of five'.
In the quarterfinals on Thursday, Angels Heart defeated Nepal National College 2-1, Himarshmila defeated Glacier 2-1, Jay Multiple defeated St. Lawrence 2-0 and Newton defeated Uniglobe 2-0 to reach the semi-finals. The
competition will be completed on Saturday. The winner will receive 25,000, the runner-up will receive 15,000 and the third runner-up will receive 5,000.
