Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has retired from international cricket. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) thanked Ashwin for his excellent game on social media and informed that Ashwin has retired.
After the Test match against Australia in Brisbane, Ashwin announced his retirement and the 38-year-old Ashwin has taken 537 wickets from 106 Tests. He has also taken 10 wickets in 8 matches. He introduced himself as an all-rounder and scored 6 centuries and 14 fifties. He has scored 3503 runs in test matches.
