Today's match between Nepal and India in the ongoing Women's U-19 Asia Cup in Malaysia has been canceled due to rain. With the cancellation of the match, both countries shared one point each.

Although both have three/three points, based on run rate, India has become the winner of Group 'A' and Nepal has become the runner-up. Both countries have entered the 'Super Four'. Pakistan, which is in this group, has been defeated in both the matches and has been eliminated from the first round. In the 'Super Four', Nepal will now play against Sri Lanka on Thursday and Bangladesh on Friday. 

After losing the toss and being invited to bat at Biomass Oval Cricket Ground in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Nepal scored 94 runs by losing nine wickets in the scheduled 20 overs. Chasing a target of 95 runs for victory, India scored 28 runs without a wicket in 3.1 overs, and the match was canceled due to rain. 

Earlier, captain Pooja Mahato scored the most 25 runs for Nepal. She hit three fours while playing 40 balls. Similarly, Elisha Kumari Yadav scored 20 unbeaten runs. Sana Praveen scored nine, Soni Pakhrin scored eight, Jyotsnika Marasini scored six, Savitri Dhami and Rachna Kumari Chaudhary three each and Anu Kadayat and Kusum Godar contributed one run each.  India's Parunika Sisodia took the most 4 wickets for

bowling. Similarly, Anandita Kishore and Mithila Vinod took one wicket each. Earlier, Nepal defeated Pakistan by 6 wickets in the first match on Monday.
