Nepal has defeated Afghanistan in today's match as part of the blind T-20 World Cup cricket tournament. Nepal defeated Afghanistan by one hundred and eight runs.
Nepal batted first after losing the toss in its third match under the World Cup cricket for the blind in Lahore, Pakistan. Nepal presented a target of 229 runs to Afghanistan for victory. But Afghanistan could only score 120 runs after losing 9 wickets.
Vice-captain Padam Bahadur Badaila and Naresh Chaudhary played half-centuries for Nepal. Badaila scored an unbeaten 92 off 51 balls and Chaudhary scored an unbeaten 72 off 62 balls. Similarly, Bharat Thapa scored 21 runs and Sagar Lama scored four runs. Afghanistan's bowlers gave Nepal 39 extra runs.
Similarly, while batting against Nepal, Afghanistan's Abashin scored 52 runs, Dwaran scored 21 runs and Sharafat scored 13 runs. On the bowling side, Sunil Rana Magar took three wickets and Bharat Thapa, Amish Guragain and Sunil Subedi Chhetri took one wicket each.
Nepal will play the fourth match against South Africa on Tuesday . Earlier, Nepal lost to Sri Lanka in the first match and Bangladesh in the second match. Along with Nepal, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and South Africa are participating in the visually impaired World Cup cricket tournament.
