Vice President of the Nepali Congress and Head of the Central Policy, Research and Training Institute, Bishwaprakash Sharma, has nominated 8 members to the Central Policy, Research and Training Institute.
The nominations were made on Tuesday as per Article 36 (1) (c) of the Nepali Congress Statute, 2017 (with amendments).
The nominees are Prakash Pantha, a central member of the Nepali Congress and former central president of the National Democratic Disabled Association, Prem Dhwaj Lama, who has a PhD in public policy and former coordinator of the Nepali Public Relations Committee in the UK, Vigyan Prasai, former executive president of the Indigenous Nationalities Foundation, Resham Gurung, agricultural activist and president of Muktinath Agriculture Company, Sitaram Kafle, a master's degree in English literature representing the gender and sexual minority community, Pratiksha Chapagain, a master's degree in mass communication, Mohan Gajurel, and an master's degree in mass communication and journalism, Anupa Shrestha.
The foundation has been bringing together experts and experienced individuals from various fields with the aim of strengthening policy research, ideological development, and the party's training system. The latest nominations further expand the representation of policy, research, agriculture, communication, inclusion, and public policy-related sectors in the foundation, the Congress said.
