The Nepali Congress has extended the deadline for renewing active memberships until 30th July.
A meeting held at the party's central office BP Smriti Bhawan, BP Nagar, Sanepa under the chairmanship of Nepali Congress General Secretary and Coordinator of the Membership Management Central Committee Pradeep Poudel on Sunday decided to extend the deadline for entering details of new active memberships and those who have been exempted from renewal and renewal into the party's central system online.
According to the party's acting chief secretary Krishna Prasad Dulal, the deadline for renewing active memberships was previously set until 20th Asad 2083. The deadline has been extended based on the fact that the necessary procedures related to membership from the ward level to the regional level are yet to be completed due to the rainy season, adequate information flow is ongoing up to the ward level to expand the maximum number of new active memberships, and suggestions received from the central representatives deployed in the concerned districts. Acting Chief Secretary Dulal informed that if any problem or complaint arises during the process of renewal and distribution of active membership, the central representative deployed in the concerned district can make a recommendation to the Membership Management Central Committee. According to him, the Membership Management Central Committee will make the necessary decision based on the recommendation received and make arrangements for renewal of active membership.
