According to the election schedule, candidacy registration for office bearers will be from 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm, and the preliminary list of candidates will be published at 7:30 pm. The time for filing claims and objections against candidates has been fixed until 8 pm.
The inquiry into the claims and objections will be conducted until 8:15 pm, and the last time for withdrawing candidacy is said to be 8:30 pm. The final list of candidates will be published at 8:45 pm, the Election Commission has stated.
A silence period will be imposed from 8:45 to 9:15 pm after the publication of the final list. The schedule states that voting for the election of office bearers will begin immediately from 9:15 pm and will continue until 12:15 pm.
After the voting is over, the counting of votes will take place from 12:15 pm to 1:15 am. The Election Commission is preparing to make the final results of the office bearer election public at 1:30 pm on Thursday.
