Prime Minister Balendra Shah has said that Nepal has proof that Kalapani and Lipulekh belong to Nepal and will return that land. Prime Minister Shah also said that he will not seek any other mediator as the border dispute with India will be resolved jointly by the two countries.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the first general convention of the National Independent Party, Prime Minister Shah, who is also a senior leader of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party, spoke about the border dispute. 'He was concerned about the border issue. When we talk about the border, of course, when we talk about the border with any country, they also object, I was surprised that they objected. Okay, now if you have proof, bring it, we have proof,' Prime Minister Shah said, 'We have proof of Kalapani, Lipulekh.'
Opposition parties are protesting against the Prime Minister's statement regarding the border in the meeting of the House of Representatives on Jestha 17. Prime Minister Shah has also responded to that protest.
Prime Minister Shah also urged not to question and doubt his nationality . He said, 'There is no need to have any doubt about my nationality, no one should.'
