Former Home Minister and National Independent Party (NISP) leader Sudhan Gurung has said that the tendency of opposition parties to only protest in politics should end.

Addressing the inaugural program of the first district convention of the National Independent Party (NISP) Gorkha on Sunday, he said that the opposition should also support good work and move forward. Former Home Minister Gurung said that everyone should move forward together to build the country, and mentioned that the NISP is a party that came to build the country.

'All parties should support good things,' he said, 'It is not enough to protest just for the sake of protest.' He, who is also a member of the House of Representatives from Gorkha Constituency No. 1, expressed his commitment to fulfill the promises he made in the election.

'The promise I made was in the past, it is still there, and it will be in the future,' he said, 'I understand that Gorkha has elected me not for taking pictures, but for working.' Former Home Minister Gurung said that he will soon establish a secretariat to work to solve the problems of the people of the constituency.

Stating that he has received repeated complaints about the lack of budget in the district, he said that when looking at how much money he has, he should also look at whether the money in others' plates has decreased.
