Prime Minister Balendra Shah has said that Nepal has also come to know that India has encroached on its land.
While answering a question from Shram Sanskriti Party MP Aren Rai in the House of Representatives on Sunday, he said that efforts are being made to resolve the Lipulekh, Kalapani and Limpiyadhura disputes diplomatically.
But in the process, he said, 'You may find one thing surprising. I also came to know after becoming Prime Minister recently that India has encroached not only on Nepal's land, but Nepal has also encroached on India's land in many places.'
Prime Minister Shah stressed that both countries should conduct a joint study to find out the actual situation of the border. He said that the government's goal is to resolve the problems seen in the border area through discussions as a friendly country.
