MP Harkaraj Rai has expressed his regret over the Prime Minister's absence while the policy and program discussions are ongoing in the House of Representatives.
He said that even though the policy and program discussions are currently ongoing, he expects the Prime Minister to come in time to respond. He said that if the Prime Minister does not attend by that time, the Shram Sanskriti Party MPs will walk out of the House. He said that if the one who should listen to the policy and program discussions does not come, it is like sending someone else as the groom/bride to his own wedding.
He said that the Prime Minister cannot run away from his responsibility.
He complains that the time for discussions on the policy and program is short. He says that the more discussions there are, the better the policy and program will be. He said that there is a situation where what is a policy? What is a program in the policy and program is inseparable.
The policy and program does not raise any issue about the level of awareness of the citizens and suggested that emphasis be placed on this. The government suggested that agriculture should be given attention for economic development. If the Kathmandu border is closed for two days, there is a situation where we will have to leave the city.
