Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Sobhita Gautam presented 3 ordinance replacement bills in the House of Representatives.
Minister Gautam presented the replacement bills of the ‘Public Procurement (Second Amendment) Ordinance, 2083’, ‘Special Provisions on the Removal of Public Officials Ordinance, 2083’, and ‘Constitutional Council (Work, Duties, Powers and Procedures) (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2083’. The remaining 3 ordinances were presented by Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle.
Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle presented the ‘Prevention of Money Laundering (Third Amendment) Ordinance, 2083’, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Sobhita Gautam presented the ‘Amendment of Certain Nepal Acts Ordinance, 2083’.
Similarly, Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Pratibha Rawal presented the ‘Cooperatives (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2083’, Minister for Health and Population Nisha Mehta presented the ‘Amendment of Certain Nepal Acts Relating to Health Sciences Institutes Ordinance, 2083’, and Minister for Education, Science and Technology Sasmit Pokharel presented the ‘Amendment of Certain Nepal Acts Relating to Universities Ordinance, 2083’. Preparations are underway to present the bill in the National Assembly as well.
