Prime Minister Balendra Shah has held discussions with members of the House of Representatives elected from Bagmati Province. The discussions held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers on Monday discussed programs that can be implemented within the current fiscal year 2082/83, long-term infrastructure development, agriculture, tourism, health, education, good governance and various issues in the social sector.

During the discussions, Ashika Tamang, elected lawmaker from Dhading-1, demanded the implementation of a modern waste management system in Sisdol and Bancharedanda, effective monitoring of 'green stickers' to control vehicle pollution, and a special education 'package' for the Chepang and Tamang communities. The Prime Minister's Secretariat has stated that he emphasized the need to prioritize the construction of the Sitapaila-Dharke alternative road.
Similarly, Sindhupalchowk MP Yubaraj Dulal urged the government to enact laws related to monkey control, protect vulnerable settlements along the banks of Melamchi and Indrawati rivers, and resolve payment issues related to the Melamchi Drinking Water Project.
Kavrepalanchowk MP Badan Kumar Bhandari urged the Prime Minister to move forward with the Sunkoshi-3 reservoir project, develop Dhulikhel as the capital of Bagmati Province, expand the Araniko Highway to four lanes, and establish a regional-level specialized hospital in Panchkhal.
Chitwan-1 MP Hari Dhakal suggested a safari route with a cycle lane on the banks of the Rapti River, construction of a 'high dam' for irrigation expansion, and implementation of an online ticket system in Sauraha.
Kathmandu-4 MP Pukar Bam stressed the need to implement the master plan for the Pashupati region, build a 'National Budget Dashboard' to enhance transparency, and bring an Integrated Infrastructure Development Act. He pointed out the need to move forward with the construction process of the 'flyover' in Chabahil.
Ramechhap MP Dr. Krishnahari Budhathoki had urged the government to stop the ongoing migration from the district, create employment, prioritize the Those Shivalaya reservoir project, and complete the stalled road projects on time.
On that occasion, Prime Minister Shah had expressed his commitment to gradually implement the issues raised by the MPs based on the budget and priorities.
