The Nepali Congress has deployed representatives in 77 districts to start the 'Roots Campaign' and the 15th General Convention.

Acting Chief Secretary of the party Krishna Prasad Dulal issued a press release on Saturday and informed that central representatives have been deployed under the 'One-Month Roots Campaign' to reach all 77 districts and the grassroots level of the party to make the party organization strong, empowered and effective. He mentioned that an orientation program was also held at the party central office today for the representatives deployed in this way. 

'At that time, Nepali Congress General Secretary Pradeep Poudel informed about the objectives of the campaign, Nepali Congress youth leader Pratap Poudel informed about the statute passed by the party's special general convention, the working procedures of the delegates to be deployed and technical issues,' the press release said. 

Acting Chief Secretary Dulal informed that the work has begun as per the schedule of the 15th General Convention from today's orientation program of the central representatives. It is stated that a one-month root campaign will be launched from April 1, 2083 BS and under it, active membership will be updated, the party's organizational activities will be analyzed, and a review program of the election will be held with the public, youth and well-wishers outside the party. Similarly,  The objective of the root campaign is to guide and facilitate the operation of social and creative campaigns, local government operations and upcoming budget preparation. 

'Central representatives have already been deployed in the district, similarly, representatives will be deployed in all 6,743 wards through the district. Membership will be updated for one month from April 1 to mid-April. Party members from the center to each level will have to personally attend their respective wards within the month of April. Only members whose membership has been updated in this way will receive a Congress 'ID' and will be able to participate in the 15th General Convention,' the statement said. 

The representatives deputed by the Nepali Congress include Baburam (Basu) Koirala of Morang in Taplejung of Koshi Province, Tulsi Subba of Tehrathum in Panchthar, Agni Prasad Poudel of Dhankuta and Medini Prasad Sitaula of Jhapa in Ilam, Mangal Myangbo of Taplejung in Sankhuwasabha, Suresh Kumar Yongya of Jhapa in Tehrathum, Sharada Koirala of Tehrathum in Dhankuta, Suyarmaraj Rai of Morang in Bhojpur, Bala Adhikari of Okhaldhunga in Khotang, Uma Siwakoti of Jhapa in Solukhumbu and Dil Kumari Rai of Sunsari in Okhaldhunga. 

Similarly,  Himalaya Karmacharya of Ilam and Nawaraj Tripathi of Bara have been deployed in Udayapur, Basanta Bhattarai of Morang and Rudra Kandangwa of Tehrathum have been deployed in Jhapa, Sudhir Siwakoti of Jhapa and Narendra Kumar Kumal of Ilam have been deployed in Morang, and Amrit Kumar Aryal and Yadu Bista of Morang have been deployed in Sunsari.

In Saptari of Madhesh Province, Manoj Mani Acharya from Rolpa and Rakesh Singh from Parsa have been deployed, Ramrup Prasad Kurmi from Parsa and Deepak Prasad Adhikari from Sarlahi have been deployed in Siraha, Keshav Niraula from Morang and Tapen Khadka from Achham have been deployed in Dhanusha, Nilam Shah from Dhanusha and Ajay Kumar Dwivedi from Parsa have been deployed in Mahottari, Navodita Chaudhary from Sunsari and Baldev Timalsina from Sindhupalchowk have been deployed in Sarlahi, Pratima Gautam from Kathmandu and Engineer Sakaldev Sutihar from Saptari have been deployed in Rautahat, Mathura Prasad Ghimire from Lalitpur and Binita Khadka from Ramechhap have been deployed in Bara, Anju Jha from Rautahat and Prafulla Kumar Ghimire from Dhanusha have been deployed in Parsa.

Similarly, Shiva Sunar of Sindhupalchowk has been deployed in Dolakha of Bagmati Province, Kiran Giri of Kathmandu in Ramechhap, Uma Dahal of Makawanpur and Ratna Karki of Ramechhap in Sindhuli, Geeta Satyal of Lalitpur and Arjun Kumar Upreti of Dhading in Kavre, Doctors Suraj Kumar Kafle and Dharmaraj Gautam of Kathmandu in Sindhupalchowk, Sita Mijar of Nuwakot in Rasuwa, Ashta Kumar Kave of Bhaktapur in Nuwakot and Engineer Laxman KC of Kathmandu have been deployed. The statement states that Kedar Narsingh KC of Nuwakot and Sabin Tamang of Kathmandu have been deployed in Dhading, Bishnu Devi Pandey of Nawalpur and Engineer Deepak Babu Kandel of Gorkha have been deployed in Chitwan, Ganga Sunar and Shreeram Lamichhane of Kathmandu have been deployed in Makawanpur, Dr. Amit Pradhan of Kathmandu and Baburaja Chitrakar of Lalitpur have been deployed in Bhaktapur, Rajendra Kumar KC of Kathmandu and Man Kumari Gurung of Gorkha have been deployed in Lalitpur, Chinakaji Shrestha of Gorkha and Sarkiman Bal of Kavrepalanchok have been deployed in Kathmandu.

Similarly, Muna Bhusal of Parbat and Bishnu Bahadur Chhetri of Kaski have been deployed in Gorkha of Gandaki Province, Prakash Pant of Tanahun in Lamjung, Ramchandra Tripathi of Kaski and Ganesh Sapkota of Nawalpur in Tanahun, Resham Bahadur Baniya of Mayday and Bishnu Poudel of Syangja in Kaski, Tulsi Narayan Shrestha of Lamjung in Manang, Dr. Krishna Gautam of Tanahun in Mustang, Jagadish Chandra Upadhyay of Baglung in Parbat, Sanam Begum of Parbat and Dr. Krishna Prasad Poudel of Kaski in Syangja, Laxmi Acharya of Tanahun in Mayday, Krishna Bahadur KC of Kaski and Manohar Parajuli of Nawalpur in Baglung, Jit Narayan Shrestha of Chitwan in Nawalpur and Sushil Bhatta of Kathmandu have been deployed.
