Acting Chief Secretary of the party Krishna Prasad Dulal issued a press release on Saturday and informed that central representatives have been deployed under the 'One-Month Roots Campaign' to reach all 77 districts and the grassroots level of the party to make the party organization strong, empowered and effective. He mentioned that an orientation program was also held at the party central office today for the representatives deployed in this way.
'At that time, Nepali Congress General Secretary Pradeep Poudel informed about the objectives of the campaign, Nepali Congress youth leader Pratap Poudel informed about the statute passed by the party's special general convention, the working procedures of the delegates to be deployed and technical issues,' the press release said.
Acting Chief Secretary Dulal informed that the work has begun as per the schedule of the 15th General Convention from today's orientation program of the central representatives. Membership will be updated for one month from April 1 to mid-April. Party members from the center to each level will have to personally attend their respective wards within the month of April. Only members whose membership has been updated in this way will receive a Congress 'ID' and will be able to participate in the 15th General Convention,' the statement said.
