Speaker of the House of Representatives, Arjun Narsingh KC, has emphasized the need for cooperation and coordination in establishing political stability, good governance and the rule of law. Addressing the first meeting of the House of Representatives held on Thursday, Speaker KC said that the House of Representatives election held on Falgun 21 after the results of the first parliamentary election of 2015 BS had achieved historic achievements and stressed the need for radical changes in the governance system as per the expectations of the people. He stressed that all parties should unite to strengthen inclusiveness, equality and people's power in accordance with the spirit of the constitution.

Expressing confidence that the expectations of the people will be fulfilled through the newly formed government and the House of Representatives, Speaker KC said that he is confident that the remaining parliamentary processes will be completed through cooperation, dialogue and understanding. He said, 'This is also the wish of the people. I am confident that the remaining issues will be formed on the basis of consensus and will work effectively in the public interest and national interest.'

Meanwhile, as the senior member of the House of Representatives, he chaired the meeting as the Speaker has not yet been elected.
