The Nepali Congress party office in Sanepa has started an orientation for the newly elected members of the House of Representatives.

The orientation for the newly elected members of the National Assembly and those elected directly and proportionally in the House of Representatives elections has started at the party's central office today. 

As per the schedule set by the Congress, party President Gagan Kumar Thapa, Vice Presidents Bishwa Prakash Sharma and Pushpa Bhusal, General Secretary Pradeep Poudel and Gururaj Ghimire will train the newly elected members, informed Acting Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Dulal.

He said that the Congress has organized a 'Parliamentary Awareness' program on behalf of the party to explain parliamentary practices, processes and priorities and the party's pledge.

In the House of Representatives elections, 18 people have been elected directly from the Congress and 20 from the proportional system. Similarly, there are nine newly elected members of the National Assembly from the Congress.
