Pakistani counterpart Shahbaz Sharif has congratulated the newly appointed Prime Minister Balendra Shah. Through the social network X (Twitter), Prime Minister Sharif congratulated Shah on assuming the post of Prime Minister after the huge victory of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party.

He stated that Pakistan has long-standing friendly relations with Nepal and expressed hope for cooperation to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.
