The Ujjaya Nepal Party has congratulated Prime Minister Sushila Karki for making the country safely emerge from a difficult situation. A delegation led by party chairman Kulman Ghising met in Baluwatar on Saturday and congratulated him, saying that a peaceful election was possible only because of Prime Minister Karki's integrity and commitment.
The delegation praised the government, stating that it was no small success to hold a clean and rigged election across the country at a time when doubts were being expressed from many quarters about the election.’
'We sincerely congratulate and thank you for fulfilling your profound responsibility of providing political stability to the country by successfully conducting the election even in challenging circumstances,' said Chairman Ghising. 'The country has achieved a safe landing under your leadership. I am happy about this. I was also able to work in this government for some time at such an important historical moment. Now, even if I am not in parliament, I will work for the country from outside.'
Prime Minister Karki praised the Ujjwal Nepal Party for participating in the elections and supporting this process. Similarly, he also praised the effective role played by Ghising for the success of this government. On that occasion, the Ujjwal Nepal Party also demanded from Prime Minister Karki the security of Nepalis in the Gulf region and the publicization of the report of the commission led by Gauri Bahadur Karki.
