The Election Commission of Nepal has submitted the report of the House of Representatives member election-2082 held on Falgun 21 to President Ram Chandra Poudel.
The Acting Chief Commissioner of the Commission, Ram Prasad Bhandari, submitted the report to President Poudel at a program organized at the Presidential Palace, Sheetal Niwas, on Thursday.
On the occasion, President Poudel expressed happiness over the successful completion of the election despite the efforts made day and night with mind, word and deed despite difficult and complex circumstances. He thanked all the parties concerned, including the Election Commission and civil servants, for the successful completion of the election.
'The Commission has successfully fulfilled its responsibility by conducting the House of Representatives member election on Falgun 21 in a free, fair and fearless environment, which has increased the trust of the common people in the Election Commission and the election system, and I feel that democracy has become stronger,' President Poudel said.
