During the meeting, along with Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal, Prime Minister Karki expressed gratitude for the supportive role played by the Nepali Congress in making the election successful in various capacities, according to the Prime Minister's Secretariat.
According to the Prime Minister's Press Advisor Ram Bahadur Rawal, Prime Minister Karki had urged the Nepali Congress leaders not to be disheartened if they were defeated in the election.
