The Election Commission has made a special appeal to all voters who have yet to exercise their franchise to go to the polling station and vote without waiting for the scheduled time (5 pm).

In the context of the enthusiastic voting across the country, the Commission has made this appeal to citizens who are staying at home due to work or other reasons. Election Commission spokesperson Narayan Prasad Bhattarai said that he does not believe that voters are staying at home without participating in the election.

The Commission has advised those who are reaching the polling station to vote in a clean and legal manner so that their votes are not invalidated. The Commission has reminded that voting is not only a citizen's right but also an important duty towards the nation. 'All voters, some may be going to the polling station due to work, some may have already voted and returned. We would like to ask those who are yet to reach the polling station due to work to go to the polling station without delay,' he said.

Even though the time is up to 5 pm, the Commission has requested all voters to complete their work in time as there may be crowding and technical problems while waiting for the last minute.
