Congress Vice President Bishwaprakash Sharma has urged voters not to make decisions based on emotions, saying that taking over the country is not a matter like changing the taste of vegetables.
Addressing an election rally held in Morang on Tuesday, Sharma urged all parties to make the election competition dignified . He believes that while going to the election, they should proceed in a calm and civilized manner without abusing the opposition party . He noted that some political parties compare elections to war and commented that such a mentality cannot be good for the country .
Sharma urged people to decide on voting only by keeping in mind who has governed the country in different periods of history .
This is what Sharma said
While going to the election, one should go without abusing the opposition . Elections are not battlefields . Some say that we are at war . Here, there is a matter of passion, there is a matter of anger, there is a matter of showing off . In the past, so-and-so was looked at, this time it is looked at by someone else .
Is it worth watching elections ? If you have eaten gourd vegetables since the beginning of the year, how much should you eat? Taking charge of the country is not a matter of changing your taste. Who has played what role in the past? Who has managed the country in which period of time in the past? Voters should look at this.
