Nepali Communist Party Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal has claimed that the NCP is a new party based on ideas and principles.
At an election consultation program organized by the Nepali Communist Party Salyan Contact Committee here on Friday, he said that the decision of the new and the old will be made by ideas, agendas and struggles. 'Who has brought a new idea than republic? Today's newest idea is republic. It is led by the NCP. Who has brought a new slogan than giving identity and rights to women, Dalits, indigenous peoples, Madhesis, Tharus, Muslims and oppressed classes and communities?' said Coordinator Dahal.
Coordinator Dahal said that those who call themselves new parties should make their party's vision public before the people. He said that the accusation of calling a party that leads new movements and issues old is wrong.
NCP leader Prakash Jwala said that his party is moving towards the journey of socialism through reducing corruption, maintaining good governance, creating employment and prosperity. NCP candidate from Salyan Constituency No. 1 Ramesh Malla expressed his commitment to play his role honestly so that the people and the party do not bow their heads.
