The second meeting of the Secretariat of the Election Mobilization Committee of the Nepali Communist Party (NCP) was held today at the party's central office, Parisdanda, under the chairmanship of Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

In the meeting, the secretariat members of the Election Mobilization Committee reported on the preparations for the election, the current political situation and the regional situation. After listening to the reporting, Coordinator Dahal expressed his views on the overall political situation and election-related issues.

The meeting has decided to convene a meeting of the Central Election Mobilization Committee on Magh 22. In addition, the meeting has made various important decisions related to the mobilization of leaders and cadres, publication of election appeals, editing and publication of manifestos, security arrangements, financial and media mobilization, code of conduct and the Election Commission.

The meeting has also assigned provincial responsibilities for effective monitoring of the election mobilization. Accordingly, Beduram Bhusal in Koshi Province, Agni Sapkota in Madhes Province, Rajendra Shrestha in Bagmati Province, Dev Gurung in Gandaki Province, Pampha Bhusal in Lumbini Province, Pramesh Hamal in Karnali Province and Ranjita Shrestha in Sudurpaschim Province have been given responsibility.

Similarly, the meeting has decided to take a concrete decision regarding the mobilization of leaders and cadres and to publish the appeal for the election soon and to edit and publish the manifesto soon.

To make the election campaign effective, a central campaign committee has been formed under the leadership of Agni Sapkota, Jagatnath Khatiwada, and Govinda Acharya. The meeting has decided that the central campaign committee will carry out the campaign work systematically with necessary consultations with various other parties.
