CPN (Maoist) General Secretary Netra Bikram Chand has said that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is rushing to come to power. Speaking at a program organized in Kathmandu on Sunday, Chand accused the so-called new parties of rushing to come to power by raising slogans of populism and spreading confusion among the people.
General Secretary Chand also claimed that the new parties have adopted the capitalist culture by saying that ideas are nothing, but individuals. 'Ideas are nothing, parties and leaders are everything. This is the theory of those who call them new. What is seen now is that we should not talk about principles and ideas. Why do we talk like this, what is the method, then it is the method of the capitalists. Even in capitalism, this is a slogan of populism. This is a consumerist and populist slogan that shows people, and spreads some illusions, and that we will get to power by accident. That should not happen,' he said.
General Secretary Chand also responded that his party has withdrawn from the unity process between the communist parties and that there is a work of spreading illusions.
