Nepali Congress General Secretary Pradeep Poudel has said that the Congress has embraced the voice of the younger generation.

At a voter meeting program organized today at the Vishal Milan Center in Baluwatar, Kathmandu Constituency No. 4, he said that the Congress has selected a new leadership through a special general convention to assimilate the voices of the youth generation. He said that the protests on Bhadra 23 and 24 were a youth movement.

General Secretary Poudel said that all Nepali people want good governance and there should be no restrictions on exercising civil liberties. He said that even though he could not do everything he said in the last election, he did not do anything wrong. General Secretary Poudel, who is also the former Minister of Health and Population, urged the government to be serious, emphasizing the continuity and effective implementation of the health insurance program.

Recalling that he had given high priority to health insurance during his tenure, he expressed concern over the closure of insurance services in some places.
