JSP Nepal Chairman Upendra Yadav has said that the change from now on will not be just for power but for the bright and assured future of the new generation as the previous government was very dishonest in the name of institutionalizing the changes achieved through various struggles.

Chairman Yadav, who is a candidate for Saptari Constituency No. 3 in the House of Representatives election, said that the future of the new generation should be secured in the constitution by amending or rewriting it according to the wishes and needs of the country and the people.

‘Today’s Nepal is stuck in the old constitutional structure, which has neither provided stability nor justice. The future of the young generation is in doubt due to political instability, weak federalism and lack of identity,’ he said, referring to the commitment letter made public by JSP Nepal, that the country should be given a way out by amending/rewriting the constitution to change the form of governance, electoral system and justice system, as well as to solve national problems.’

He said that JSP Nepal is adamant about implementing the (10+1) provincial structure with ethnic identity as per the report of the State Restructuring High-Level Commission 2068 BS, reflecting national ethnic identity.

Stating that there will be no compromise against federalism and the demands of the new generation for change, Chairman Yadav said, ‘It is our firm stance to make federalism a reality, not a matter of paper. This change is not for power, but for the beautiful future of the new generation, and JSP Nepal is determined in that.'
