While political party candidates are campaigning without manifestos, the Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal has come up with a 27-point election commitment. Like the 2079 elections, it has prioritized the issue of constitutional amendment.

‘To change the form of government, electoral system and judicial system, as well as to solve national problems, to provide a solution to the country by amending or rewriting the constitution, and to restructure the state in a way that reflects national ethnic identity’ JSP Nepal has explained the reason for voting, ‘To provide for an executive presidential system directly elected by the people and a parliamentary structure with proportional inclusive representation.’

It has committed to addressing the demands of the Gen-G movement and fulfilling the demands of the young generation. ‘To address the just demands and issues raised by Gen-G (young generation) during the movement. To ensure corruption control, accountability, good governance and transparency in order to build a corruption-free society,' the commitment letter states, 'to investigate all corruption and various corruption-related scandals that have occurred in the past while in government and to take action against the corrupt according to the law.'

It has also presented the argument that the JSP Nepal should be voted for to end the irregularities, confusion and low standards in the education and health sectors and to ensure that the state takes responsibility for health services and employment along with equal and science and technology-based professional and quality education for all.

'The government should provide scholarships and free education, technical training and employment for the extremely poor and disadvantaged classes and endangered, marginalized Dalits and women.'

It has stated that appointments will be made on the basis of merit, ability and experience, saying that political parties have made wrong appointments based on share distribution in government appointments in the past.

‘To end party-based participation in political appointments made by the Nepal government and to make arrangements for appointments that are proportional and inclusive on the basis of merit, ability, experience and contribution,’ says the JSP Nepal manifesto.

To make arrangements for provincial police, provincial employees, provincial laws, etc. by adjusting the police and employees in the provinces, and to make arrangements for a fair distribution of development-related budgets, manpower, opportunities and resources at the organizational, provincial and local levels based on population and human development index criteria.

‘To formulate and implement concrete policies, programs and plans to improve the living standards of the poor people dependent on agriculture by implementing a scientific land use policy and commercializing, modernizing and industrializing agriculture through an agricultural revolution, and to develop, prosper and advance the country,’ it says.
