UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has accused the government of doing things that are causing him pain.
Chairman Oli said that the government treated him like a gold smuggler at the airport on Friday while returning from his home district Jhapa to Kathmandu.
Speaking at a program organized at the party headquarters Chyasal on Saturday, he complained that he was treated humiliatingly at the airport, saying, 'The order came from above.' Oli said that the treatment meted out to him at the airport made him feel like he did not belong to a civilized society.
'When I was going from here to Jhapa, I was treated quite well at the airports. When I came back yesterday, they checked me as if I was a gold smuggler, what did they do? It is shocking,' he said, 'Surprising! Sometimes even when we go abroad, they do not do that to us in places we know. When we go to unfamiliar places, it seems that they despise Nepalis. They did the same thing at the airport yesterday. They say that they have ordered us from above instead of doing that. What is this government doing, it is causing unrest, injustice.'
Chairman Oli also claimed that there is no alternative for UML to form a government to move the country forward on the right path again.
