The Okhaldhunga District Committee of the Communist Party of Nepal (UML) has collectively merged with the Nepali Communist Party (NCP).
Nepali Communist Party Coordinator and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has emphasized that patriots who love the federal democratic republic should unite.
Welcoming the Okhaldhunga District Committee of the Nepal Communist Party (UML) collectively into the Nepali Communist Party (NCP), Coordinator Dahal expressed confidence that the people will once again establish his party as the number one party in the elections as it is capable of resolving the current crisis in the country. He said that if the people can understand that the Nepali Communist Party is a party that loves the country, it will become the first party in the country.
The Okhaldhunga District Committee of the Nepal Communist Party (UML) has collectively merged with the Nepali Communist Party (NCP). At a program organized here on Friday, 38 office bearers and leaders, including UML Okhaldhunga District President Gyan Bahadur Khadka, Vice President Kamal Prasad Neupane, Secretary Ashok Thapa, Deputy Secretary Rajiv Katuwal, and other office bearers and leaders joined the Nepali Communist Party.
They announced that they had left the party and joined the NCP after the party leadership chose candidates in the upcoming House of Representatives elections by disobeying the recommendation of the district committee.
Party co-coordinator and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal, claiming that the people understand that his party is the mainstream of the Communist Party, emphasized that the socialist ideology adopted by the party should be taken throughout the country.
